Welcome to Summer Camp at Capital Church
At Capital Church, summer is where curiosity, friendship, and active adventure collide. We provide a safe, high-energy, and enriching environment where campers step away from screens, build lasting memories, and discover something new every single day.
High-Energy Days & Regional Adventures
Though our summer camp program is only a couple of years old, it has quickly become a community favorite fresh off a record-breaking season with 90+ enthusiastic campers!
Every week brings hands-on learning and unforgettable experiences, featuring dozens of field trips across the region. Past favorites include:
- The New York State Museum & local aviation museums
- Regional aquariums & nature centers
- Community splash pads & scenic local parks
- Mini golf & bowling alleys
Our team is already actively planning our next lineup of excursions to make the upcoming summer our most adventurous, memorable season yet.
What Sets Our Camp Experience Apart
- Weekly Themed Adventures: Dynamic, hands-on STEAM projects, outdoor games, and team challenges designed to keep campers engaged all summer long.
- Balanced Days: A thoughtful mix of active outdoor play, creative exploration, and downtime to keep energy levels positive and balanced.
- Positive Peer Community: A welcoming atmosphere that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and authentic friendships across age groups.
Our Safety & Quality Commitment
Your peace of mind and your camper’s safety are at the core of everything we do:
- Thoroughly Vetted Team: Every staff member undergoes comprehensive New York State OCFS background checks prior to working with campers.
- Always Prepared: CPR- and First Aid-certified staff members are on-site and present on all off-campus excursions at all times.
- Individualized Attention: We strictly adhere to compliant camper-to-counselor ratios to ensure attentive supervision, warmth, and active engagement.
