CAPITAL STUDENTS 6th–12th Grade

Looking for a place where you can hang out with friends, be yourself, and learn about God? Capital Students is built for Middle and High School students to connect, grow, and make an impact.

Wednesdays at 6:30 PM | Capital Church

(Dinner is always provided because it’s hard to feed the spirit when the body is hungry!)

Our Core Values

• Come As You Are – Because God welcomes everyone, there are no cliques, no masks, and no sitting alone.
• Grow in Faith – Because God is real, we dig into honest questions, real worship, and what following Jesus looks like every day.
• Own the Mission – Because students lead today, you have the power to impact your school, your friends, and your community right now.
• Build Real Community – Because we do life together, we share meals, laugh loud, and show up for each other through everything.

What Wednesday Nights Look Like

• 6:30 PM – Free Dinner & Hangout: Grab a hot meal, decompress from the school week, and connect with friends and leaders who care about your life.
• 7:00 PM – Games & Worship: High energy games that break the ice, followed by passionate, student led worship.
• 7:30- 8:30PM – Relevant Teaching & Small Groups: Real Bible teaching broken down into age specific middle and high school breakout circles to talk through what matters most.

Beyond Wednesday Nights: Trips, Events & Missions

Faith and friendship don’t stop on Wednesday. Throughout the year, Capital Students is on the move:

• Monthly Hangouts & Community Service: Once a month, we get together for unforgettable events and outreach projects—town-wide scavenger hunts, movie nights, mall hide-and-seek, epic Christmas parties, and service days giving back at local food pantries and soup kitchens.
• Missions Trips: Every year, students have the opportunity to step outside their comfort zones, serve communities in need, and share the love of Christ internationally in places like El Salvador.
• New York Youth Convention (Syracuse, NY): An annual gathering where thousands of students from across the state pack out the arena for powerhouse worship, life-changing messages, and community.
• National Youth Conference & Fine Arts Festival: Joining up to 10,000 students and churches from across the country to worship, grow, and display and deploy God-given talents in drama, music, art, communication, and leadership.
• Summer Teen Camp: A week packed with outdoor adventures, team competitions, and distraction-free moments to connect with God and lifelong friends.
